Rides of 2003 |
|
March 2, 2003 — The Opening Poker run was lead by our Road Captain Brent Snyder on March 2. The run started at the Clubhouse and proceeded to Livermore, out to Tracy then north to Mountain House for pictures. We then doubled back through to Livermore, Dublin and San Ramon to Castro Valley where we took Redwood road to Oakland and back to the Club for lunch, put on by the Auxillery.
April 6, 2003 — Virgil Garcia setup a little run to the Charlie Brown Museum in Santa Rosa. We found a few nice roads on the way up and then the group split up and headed all different directions. Another good ride
May 4, 2003 — We met at Jaces Pub in Concord where they bought us breakfast. We then headed out to Antioch and over the bridge to Rio Vista. Wet our whistles and then went on a ferry boat to Ryer Island, made a quick tour and then another ferry to 160. Got lost looking for Isleton, but whats new.
May 17 and 18, 2003—Sheet Iron! Great ride, lots of riders, Good dinner Saturday night. All around, a good time.
June 1, 2003—Ladies run down the coast and back into San Jose to the Winchester Mystery House. A good time was had by all.
June 14 and 15, 2003—Larry Stewarts Topaz Lake run. We met at Pleasanton, rode 89 to Markeville then 4 over to 395. Too much fun to talk about. You have to have been there.
