About the Oakland Motorcycle Club

In 2007, the OMC celebrated 100 years of continuous operation as an organization dedicated to supporting the sport of motorcycle riding. We are the fourth oldest such club in the nation. We hold AMA charter number 72.

OMC members, both male and female, are a diverse group who ride a wide variety of motorcycles, including street, adventure, dual sport, dirt bikes and even scooters. Total membership, including honorary life members, numbers about 80.

Some of our members are descendants of relatives who have been riding with the club for generations. We all share a passion for motorcycles and riding.

OMC members used their own money and labor and cash from fundraising events to acquire and build our clubhall. The structure was completed in 1983, and a major expansion was carried out in 2006.

All of the club's activities are strongly supported by the Oakland Motorcycle Club Auxiliary (OMCA).

Regular club meetings are held every Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7pm and guests are welcome.
