AMA News - Dal Smilie, Board Member from the Northwest Region resigns.

The OMC celebrated our 100th anniversery in 2007. Now we start our 101st. We have a full year planned, from trips to Baja to little rides through the Oakland Hills to a week at Bonneville for the the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials and much more. Check out our calendar.

We sponser three rides every year, a Street ride and dance, a Dual Sport and an enduro. These are all AMA and District 36 sanctioned rides

The Sheetiron Dualsport is a two day ride from Stonyford to Ft. Bragg and back over the weekend of May 17-18. The course is mostly dirt with easy and hard routes. In 2007 we had nearly five hundred riders, perfect weather, some new trails and a good time was had by all.

The Three Bridge Run starts at the Clubhall in Oakland on the afternoon of Saturday July 12. We make a tour through San Francisco, Marin and back to the Clubhall for prizes, music and dancing.

The Jackhammer Enduro will be held on October 19, starting and finishing in Fouts Springs, west of Stonyford, Ca. In 2007 we had good weather and good trails. 292 riders started and 248 finished.
